Let nature spark your creativity through floral, art and aromatherapy workshops on our lavender farm!
Floral and nature-inspired DIY art classes and workshops, led by local artists and crafters are offered on the patio of our barn throughout the season from June - October.

Mini Dried Floral Wreath Workshop
Mother’s Day Weekend
Saturday, May 11th | 2 - 4pm
Create your own dried floral wreath with a beautiful assortment of dried lavender, flowers and eucalyptus on the covered patio of our barn! Wreath is 8” in diameter. A wonderful experience for all ages to enjoy!
Feel free to bring your own beverage and/or snacks, and we'll have our complimentary signature lavender lemonade for you to enjoy!

Painted Planter Box with Succulents
Mother’s Day Weekend
Saturday, May 11th | 6 - 8pm
Join us for a unique outdoor art experience on the patio of our barn, where you'll paint a beautiful design of your choice on a wooden succulent planter box!
We’ll guide you in arranging your succulent plants so you can take home a beautiful arrangement to enjoy! Great for all ages.
Feel free to bring your own beverage and/or snacks, and we'll have our complimentary signature lavender lemonade for you to enjoy!

Lavender Landscape Painting
Saturday, June 1st | 2 - 4 pm
Art, Sip & Pick! Join us on the patio of our barn for a guided painting of the lavender field. Feel free to bring your own beverage and/or snack as we make art together!
Lavender painting is on 16x20 canvas using acrylic paint.
While your painting dries, join us in the lavender field to pick a bundle of lavender & explore our lavender products in the Cedar Ridge Farm Stand.

Pollinator Planter Workshop
Saturday, June 8th at 2-4pm
Get your hands dirty while learning about improving pollinator waystations in our community & making a showy pollinator-friendly planter!
Whitney Hartman, local HS Biology teacher, Master in Biology candidate, and owner of Hartman Lavender Garden, will guide the class in learning about plants for pollinator conservation, how they work, and you’ll be getting your hands in the soil while making your own showy waystation planter to take home!
We’ll be discussing:
Pollinator Waystations and how they create a food source for local and migratory pollinator species
The difference between host, nectar, and pollen producing plants
Information from the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation
Your planter will include everything you need for hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies, and will be seasonal heat tolerant and deer-resistant! Planter includes soil and 3 plants (1 gal, 2 quart sized).
While you plant, Hartman will also guide you through soil prep, selecting plants for our zone, and planting inspiration for the best waystations for the popular Monarch Butterfly.
Show off your planter with your friends, family, and neighbors, and let them know how, they too, can help pollinators in our community! Take home your summer planter for rewarding blooms and visitors all season long.
After class, guests are welcome to pick a bundle of lavender!

Macrame Diffuser Workshop
Saturday, June 8th | 6 - 8p
All the vintage vibes with this workshop! Create 2 macrame diffusers with your choice of colors and wooden beads. Then create your own custom essential oil blend in 5ml jar to apply to your diffusers.
After the workshop, wander the lavender fields to pick a bundle of lavender!
Macrame led by Sam of Macrabae and essential oils by Joy of Cedar Ridge Trails.

Immersive Sound Meditation & Watercolor Journey
Saturday, June 21st | 6 - 8p
Join us for an incredible evening in nature for an immersive sound and art experience!
Sound meditation is practical tool for stress relief, mental and emotional health. Following the sound journey, you’ll create an intuitive watercolor painting and explore the fields to pick a bundle of lavender. Workshop will be led by Michelle Hickman, MS, intuitive guide and owner of Sense of Healing.
Whether you consider yourself creative or not, you’ll be guided into unexplored landscapes within you, as you get lost in colors flowing into other colors, layering on top of each other, and creating a kaleidoscope of light and form, just like you.
Intuitive painting is a gentle but powerful way to access your inner world, to feel more grounded and calm, allowing both your right and left brain to begin to work together. You will gain skills that help harmonize your inner state. Practice becoming more calm and peaceful in this moment.
Creating art is the easiest way to meditate, because you are allowing the "doing" to guide you into the meditative state, rather than sitting still and trying to stop the mind.
All experience levels welcome and encouraged (with a little guidance your creativity will flow). All materials included.

Fairy Garden Workshop
Saturday, August 3rd 2pm
Create a magical fairy garden, complete with all the fairy accessories, small plants, assorted mosses and dried flowers! Your beautiful garden will be in an 8” diameter flower pot.
The workshop will be led by Lori of Fairy Dust & Rust, on the patio of our barn overlooking the flower fields. After the workshops, wander the flower fields to pick a bundle of lavender and wildflowers!
Complimentary raspberry lavender lemonade and water will be provided, and feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to class.
Weather Policy: Workshop is rain or shine, in the event of inclement weather we will notify you of a reschedule.
Cancellation Policy: Due to limited capacity of the workshop, cancellations within 7 days of the event will not be refunded

Sunflower Painting & U-Pick
Saturday, Sept. 28th | 6 - 8p
Art, Sip & Pick! Join us on the patio of our barn overlooking the flower fields to paint sunflowers! Class is guided by Megan Newton, art teacher at Miamisburg High School. While your paint dries, wander the flower fields to pick a bundle of lavender and wildflowers!
Painting is on 16x18 canvas with acrylic paint.
Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy during class!

Pumpkin Succulent Centerpiece Workshop
Saturday, September 28th at 2pm
Saturday, October 5th at 2pm
With Fairy Dust and Rust
Design a show-stopping fall centerpiece for your home using a heirloom pumpkin, live moss and succulents! Lori of Fairy Dust & Rust in Tipp City, Ohio will provide you with step-by-step guidance as you create your masterpiece!
Your work of art will live for months with light watering, and after the season you can easily transplant the moss and succulents to a more traditional flower pot.
After class, explore the fields picking a beautiful bundle of wild flowers to take home with you!
Bring your friends and have an amazing afternoon creating art and memories on the farm together! Feel free to also bring snacks and beverages of your choice!
