Floral and nature-inspired DIY art classes and workshops, led by local artists and crafters are offered on the patio of our barn.
All experience levels are encouraged and welcome!

Pollinator Planter Workshop
Saturday, June 13th | 10am-12pm
Get ready for a morning of planting, pollinators, and lavender‑field magic!
Join us for a hands‑on workshop where you’ll create your own showy, pollinator‑friendly planter while chatting about how to support hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies in your home garden.
Then we’ll head out into the lavender field for a relaxed lavender talk with farm owner Joy Pascoe, who will share her best tips for growing and caring for lavender.
You’ll head home with:
• A gorgeous native‑plant pollinator planter filled with 4 native plants ready to attract pollinators (hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, etc) all season - includes 3 pollinator plants (1 gal, 2 quart sized), 1 small Milkweed plant
• A baby lavender plant to grow at home
• A fresh u‑pick lavender bundle
• New knowledge about pollinators and lavender
• And of course, sweet memories from a beautiful day on the farm
This workshop is led by Whitney Hartman, Springboro High School science teacher with MA Biology, and owner of Hartman Lavender Garden (a Monarch Joint Venture partner), in partnership with Joy Pascoe, owner of Cedar Ridge Trails.
After the workshop, you’re welcome to explore the farm stand store which has lots of locally made lavender-inspired home, bath, body, culinary and wellness goodies - including those made by Hartman Lavender Garden!
We have all the supplies you’ll need, bring your own garden gloves if you’d like!

Fresh Lavender Wreath Workshop
Thursday, June 25th | 6pm - 8pm
In this incredibly special class, you’ll get to make your own beautiful, fresh lavender wreath with lavender right from our farm! Our farm owner, Joy Pascoe, will lead you in preparing and creating your wreath.
A lavender wreath is a timeless addition to your home, providing beauty and a wonderful scent year-round. Wreaths stay beautiful for years if kept away from the weather, they can be hung indoors or outdoors if in a shaded and covered space.
Wreaths will be made on a 10” form which creates a final wreath of approximately 14” in diameter.
Enjoy a fun evening escape to the farm, and feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages!

Paper Making Workshop
Saturday, July 11th | 1 - 3pm
Enjoy creating your own paper! In this workshop, everyone becomes an expert papermaker by mixing pulp, adding floral inclusions and playing with colors. Leave with at least 6 sheets of handmade paper.
Following paper making, wander the fields to pick a bundle of lavender and wildflowers to bring home with you!
Workshop is led by Darden Bradshaw, Art Professor at University of Dayton.

Preserving Summer Pressed Flower Workshop
Saturday, July 11th | 6pm - 8pm
Join us on the patio of our barn overlooking the fields while creatively arranging pressed flowers in a beautiful frame! You’ll be guided and inspired by the lovely, Megan Newton, art teacher at Miamisburg High School.
Glass and gold metal frame is approximately 6in x 6in
Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy during class!

Basket Weaving Workshop
Saturday, July 18th | 1 - 3pm
Create a small round basket (approximately 4 inches in diameter and 4-5 inches high) with natural flat and colored flat reed. Create an ornamental rim with colored lashing. This workshop is designed for beginner basket weavers. In just 2 hours, you can create your first small round basket and then pick lavender and wildflowers to fill your basket as a wonderful centerpiece.
Lavender lemonade and water will be provided in class, and guests are able to bring other beverages to enjoy.

Macrame Hanging Planter
Saturday July 25th at 2pm
All the retro vibes with this class! Sam from Macrabe will lead you in creating your own hanging macrame plant holder with natural wood shelf and potted plant!
After class pick a bundle of lavender and wildflowers!

Floral Imprinted Planter Ceramic Workshop
Sunday, August 9th | 2pm - 4pm
The MADE clay crew is packing their supplies and heading to Cedar Ridge Trails for a match made in lavender field heaven.
Join us at Cedar Ridge Trails for a hand-building workshop to learn the basics of slab building. In this workshop, we will be using impression techniques to create a planter. Included with each registration is a U-pick bundle of lavender and wildflowers.
MADE will fire and glaze your creation and you’ll pick it up at the MADE studio in Dayton! This process usually takes about four weeks.
This workshop is for adults 18+, we appreciate your understanding.
Registration is through MADE Ceramics.
Abstract Fall Wreath Workshop
Saturday, August 22nd | 10am - 12pm
Join us on the patio of our barn overlooking the fields to creatively assemble a wispy fall abstract wreath using grasses and dried florals. Your wreath will be a gorgeous addition to your home this fall. Lori of Fairy Dust and Rust will be providing step-by-step guidances as you design your wreath.
Wreath will be on a 12” frame and the final dimensions will be approximately 18” - 22” depending on your selection of materials.
Lavender lemonade and water will be provided, and feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy during class!
After you complete your wreath, you’ll be able to wander the fields to pick a bundle of seasonal lavender, wildflowers and grasses to bring home with you as well.

Mini Pumpkin Succulent Trio Workshop
Saturday, September 26th | 10am - 12pm
Create the most adorable fall decor for your home using dried mosses, florals and succulents atop three mini white pumpkins. You’ll be guided step by step by Lori of Fairy Dust and Rust.
After the workshop, wander the flower fields to pick a bundle of seasonal wildflowers and lavender to take home with you as well.
Lavender lemonade and water will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and beverages to enjoy.
Event will be held on the covered patio of our barn overlooking the fields.

Macrame Dried Floral Wreath Workshop
Saturday, September 26th | 2pm - 4pm
Create a unique dried floral wreath for your home using macrame techniques and creative floral arrangement, preserving summer’s bounty for years to come!
Wooden wreath is 10” in diameter, will include a beautiful macrame design made by you, and your final wreath will be filled with gorgeous dried wildflowers, grasses and lavender of your choosing.
Lavender lemonade and water will be provided, and feel free to bring your own beverages and snacks to enjoy.
After class, you’ll get to wander the flower fields to pick a bundle of seasonal wildflowers and lavender to bring home with you as well.
