Whitney Hartman, local HS Biology teacher, Master in Biology candidate, and owner of Hartman Lavender Garden, will guide the class in learning about plants for pollinator conservation, how they work, and you’ll be getting your hands in the soil while making your own showy waystation planter to take home!

Picnic set ups will be arranged in the fields surrounded by the beautiful natural landscape. You’ll bring your own food and other beverages to enjoy as you watch the sun fade and pick lavender and wildflowers.
